Do all of Docklands Executive Apartments feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms?
Yes, all of our apartments feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each is fully furnished to a supremely high standard.
The Classic, Deluxe and Executive apartments all have two queen beds and our Premium Apartments have one queen bed and two king singles.
Do your short-stay apartments have kitchen, laundry, and dining facilities?
Each apartment has a full kitchen, laundry and dining room. The living area includes a large flat screen television equipped with Foxtel, free of charge.
Is smoking permitted in your Melbourne accommodation?
Smoking inside the apartment is not permitted. However, each apartment provides access to a balcony where smoking is permitted. The balcony door must be closed, and we ask that you clean the ashtray before you leave. Extra cleaning charges may apply.
How many people can stay in one of your short stay apartments?
Occupational health and safety standards require that Melbourne apartments of this size house no more than four people. A family of two adults and two children is regarded as a household of four.
How can I book?
All bookings can be made online using the live calendar.
What time is check-In, and what do I need?
Check-In is at 2.00pm. But note that we do not have a reception. Every guest is met outside the building and escorted to the apartment. It is important that you text (message) +61 0400 181 828 at least 30 minutes prior to arrival to arrange access to the apartment.
It is your responsibility to contact us at least one day prior to your arrival with an estimated arrival time and to provide your contact details.
If you arrive early we can look after your luggage until the apartment is ready.
We also require that the authorised signatory of the credit card used to make the booking be present at check-in. You must provide a valid credit card, accompanied by official photo IDs.
What time is check-out?
Check-Out is at 10am unless a later time has been arranged. But in all cases we can hold on to your luggage if you have travel arrangements later in the day.
We expect the apartment to be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. All rubbish bins should be emptied and recycling should be removed or additional cleaning fees may apply.
Do you require a deposit?
We require a non-refundable deposit of one night’s rent, a standard principle of Melbourne accommodation. This is payable one week before your arrival, or immediately if you book for a stay within the week. Payment of the deposit constitutes your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
Are there any extra charges?
There is only one extra charge to be aware of.
Parking – Secure undercover parking is available at $20 per night, per vehicle. This can be arranged during the online booking process. We can also provide a car space on arrival if it has not been previously booked.
Do you offer Wi-Fi?
Yes, we offer high speed free Wi-Fi in all our apartments.
When is my fee payable?
Immediately before arrival. Full payment of the rent must be made prior to occupancy. Without payment, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-book the apartment. The deposit will be forfeited.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
If you cancel your booking at our Melbourne short stay apartments, you are entitled to a refund up to 7 days before your arrival date.
We will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, we do reserve the right to make alterations and cancellations to bookings should unforeseen circumstances occur.
Do I need to bring towels or linen?
All linen, blankets, quilts and towels are supplied. (Please bring your own beach towels). You should expect this service across luxury accommodation Melbourne.
Can I have people to visit me?
Unfortunately, OH&S requires that the number of guests in our apartments is strictly limited to four. As a result, any type of party, function or gathering is strictly prohibited.
Fees will apply for excess guests not approved by Docklands Executive Apartments in advance.
Use contrary to domestic use will result in eviction and the loss of your security deposit and/or additional payments deducted from your credit card.
Disturbance of neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may also result in severe cases may also lead to eviction, loss of deposit, and further charges.
Are there any penalty fees?
On departure, if you remain after 10am an extra $80 is charged for the first half hour up to a full day’s rental if you remain past 2pm.
Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Are the apartments serviced?
All of our luxury apartments are fully self-contained and self-catering, just like a home away from home. This means you have complete privacy during your stay. There is no daily cleaning service provided and linen is not changed during your stay unless your stay is for longer than 7 days.
Daily cleaning and servicing can be arranged prior to your arrival and is charged at $80 per day. A full linen change and clean can be arranged for $150.
Where is the reception?
There is no reception desk. However, we provide a 24-hour personal host who will meet you on arrival with the keys and escort you to the apartment. It is essential that you contact us and confirm your arrival time to ensure you will be able to access the building.

What are my responsibilities?
You are responsible for any damage, breakages or charges related to inappropriate behaviour. You are also responsible for keeping the apartment locked as any theft or loss during your stay is solely your responsibility.
DEA cannot accept any responsibility for guests’ actions or any loss to their personal property.
What about the security deposit?
The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days, subject to the above conditions. It can be used to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to: loss of keys, breakages, damage or excess cleaning requirements, and extra guests beyond those declared.
Please have a credit card available that we can pre-authorise with an amount up to $2,000 based on the circumstances for incidentals, damage and key security.
Are there any surcharges?
Surcharges apply for weekends, special events and peak periods, including the AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup Carnival, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and the Australian Tennis Open.
